Why this place exists
Meditate With the World was initiated by Dave around a simple question: how could people who are interested in meditating together find useful information, a sense of connection, and a way to contribute?
This first version begins with explanations and practical resources. It welcomes people who are curious about their first group as well as people who already organize or teach. The next steps will be shaped by what we learn from those conversations.
What you can do here today
Read our guides to global meditation, shared timing, and joining your first group. Use the introductory circle-hosting checklist for practical planning, or send a private introduction.
We are not currently running a daily meditation broadcast, selling memberships, or presenting a verified worldwide network of participants. Our guides do not imply that the organizations we reference are partners.
How we approach the material
We distinguish organizing suggestions from meditation instruction, and personal intentions from established evidence. Sources are linked where they help readers understand or check a claim. We do not invent teacher credentials, testimonials, or scientific effects.
These first-edition guides are published by the project. Where independent practitioner review has not happened, we say so. We welcome specific corrections and offers of relevant expertise through the contact page.
Different traditions deserve clear names
People use the word meditation for many approaches. Bringing people into conversation does not make those approaches identical. We encourage hosts to name their tradition, explain the format, and give participants the information they need to choose.
